Hydra Avenue is located on the marvelous Reem Island, with a charming view on the gulf. The towers act as a landmark around which, future plots are modeled.
Hydra Avenue is comprised of 6 towers of mixed usage. Mainly residential or hotel, the towers rise above a 3-floor podium acting as the towers' base, with each group of 2 towers connected at the 3rd floor of the podium.
The Hydra Avenue towers are made up of 20 or 25 floors, and are classified into 3 groups:
Group 1: Tower A - Tower B
Group 2: Tower C - Tower D
Group 3: Tower E - Tower F
The internal part of the towers' entry/exit points follow the same one-way clockwise traffic movement as determined by the Gateway Internal Circulation Road system, to maximize efficiency, making for an ease of access to the towers. Through a progression of options, all the conflicting traffic movements on the public roads have been eliminated to further offer a smoother travel experience for those heading to Hydra Avenue.
Furthermore, drop-off areas have been provided to the towers and podium retail areas; while a taxi lay-by and covered waiting area has been placed at the main entrance. Each podium will have 6 entrances.
There are 3 sets of straight ramps with access to the parking areas in the basement levels, which are built at a 12% slope.
